As a child, I dreamed of becoming an artist. In college, I loved painting, and printmaking, but I did not yet know how I wanted to express myself creatively. Then, I found photography.
I love photography; capturing people and the world around me is exciting, inspiring, and gives me a sense of purpose. Creatively, the sky is the limit. Whether it is preplanned and controlled or free flowing and wild, I love the process.
Expressing yourself in front of a stranger, especially one with a camera, can be intimidating. My goal is to connect with you and help you feel comfortable and confident. I'll give you direction and feedback so you know what to do and how to do it. I'll also encourage you to be creative and suggest your own ideas. Then, you are free to be you, and I can be your personal visual storyteller.
Having passion for one's work is a gift, and I am so happy to be able to share that enthusiasm with you.
I love museums, books and bookstores, family and friends, exploring new places, coffee, a good cocktail, and helping others. And though I love color, I usually prefer black and white.
